Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I have to register to buy product from your website?
A: No, you can proceed with your order and not register, should you wish so. We still require the same information, i.e. name and address, email to receive the order confirmation, etc, in order to process your order.

Q: Are my credit/debit card secure on your website?
A: Yes, they are. We pay for our own SSL certificate and we use SagePay (
www.sagepay.com) to process payment online, SagePay and are one of the leaders in the UK for online payment processing. We also offer payment by Paypal, cheque or by telephone.

Q: My login is not recognised on the site any more. What should I do?
A: Please give us a call and we will reset your password. Tel 01772 978029.

Q: I live outside the UK and the counties list defaults to UK counties.
A: You need to select your country first then, instead of the drop down menu, you will be asked to type in your county.

Q: How do I delete an item from my basket?
A: You can delete an item from your basket by clicking on the button with the red sign next to the total on each product line.

Q: How can I change the quantity of an item?
A: There is a button to update quantities next to the box with the current quantity (a little green arrow). If you change the quantities, they will update by clicking on the green arrow.

Q: Do you have a paper catalogue?
A: We decided against a paper catalogue as our stock is constanly changing, etc. All our products are currently listed on the website.

Q: Do you have a shop?
A: Yes. The address is Salter Street, Preston, PR1 1NT.

Q: I need my order urgently, can you help?
A: We offer next day delivery for all items that are in stock and if the order is placed by 1pm. We use Royal Mail Special Delivery service or Business Post.  Please choose this option at checkout. Someone will have to sign for the package upon delivery.

Q: I am in the Channel Islands and cannot find Jersey or Guernsey within the list of counties.
A: You need to choose ''Channel Islands UK'' as the country, then either Jersey or Guernsey. The VAT will not apply as per regulations in place.

Q: I am in Northern Ireland and cannot find my county.
A: You need to choose United-Kingdom as your country, since NI is part of the UK. Then you should find your county (Down, Antrim, etc) in the counties list. This is so that you are charged the same rate of postage as in the UK.

Q: I have put items in the cart but I would like more time to think about the items I need, will my items remain in the cart until my next visit.
A: Yes. The items should be in the basket the next time you log in, as long as ''cookies'' are enabled on your computer.

Q: The items I want to purchase are out of stock.
A: We place orders regularly with the manufacturers and suppliers but sometimes, they are out of stock themselves when we place our orders or it takes a few weeks for delivery. We can let you know when a particular item is back in stock if you email us at
sales@justbeads.co.uk You may also back-order items at checkout but we cannot guarantee a delivery time for back-orders.

Q: I have a problem with the checkout. What should I do?

sales@justbeads.co.uk to see if we can solve the problem. We usually can.

Q: Can I fax my order?
A: Yes, our fax number is 01772 978346.

Q: Can I send an order form by post?
A: Yes, you can. Make sure you apply the correct postage rates to your order and include your payment by cheque or postal order. You can also ask us to ring you to take your debit/credit card details, when we receive your order. An order form is available to print (bottom left hand side menu).

Q: I work for a school / a council. Do you accept purchase orders?
A: We do, but please discuss the terms and conditions with us before placing your order. Tel 01772 978029.

Q: Do you offer discount for registered charties?
A: Yes, we do. Email or call us for the discount code. Please make sure that delivery address is that of the charity and that you provide the charity number in the comments box at checkout.

Q: Do you offer discounts?
A: Our prices are already competitively priced and some are fairly low with quantity discounts. We do not offer wholesale pricing at present. A loyalty scheme will be introduced during the second half of 2010.

Q: I live in Ireland and do not have postcode, what should I put in this field?
A: Simply put 6 zeros in that box. (000000).

We have helped many teachers with supplies for workshops. Some of the customers we helped were organising children's workshops. We helped design a simple bracelet and provided all the supplies for 200 bracelets. Other customers are teachers running 5 or 10 week long courses. They were looking for supplies but did not want to buy large quantities of each item. At the same time they still wanted to get a discount due to the volume.
