Holly Necklace - Children's jewellery party kit

This party kit is for 6 children over 10 years old. Ideally, the children should know how to knot in order to make this necklace. The beads are wire wrapped glass beads in various shapes. The beads are simply knotted onto the cotton cord. Cut 1 meter of cotton cord per child. The necklace will be a long necklace which will go over the head, hence no need for a clasp. Fold the 1m length in half and start by threading a bead through one of its loops, place it in the middle and knot it. Carry on either side, leaving some space in between beads, and leave enough thread at both ends to make the final knot (double knot). Adult supervision is required at all times.

The kit does not come with instructions but you can refer to the above easy description. The pack includes 5 packets of beads and 1 reel of cotton cord in black (25m). The cotton cord is enough to make at least 25 necklaces so if there are more than 6 in your party, simply add 1 packet of beads per extra child.
